Natural Swim Pond Pricing: Custom Quotes
A swim pond price is not a pool price with plants added. It covers a whole landscape. The swim zone, the planted regeneration zone that filters the water, excavation and grading, boulder and stone work, a stream or waterfall, planting, lighting and the surrounding hardscape. Our builds run $120,000 to $750,000, with most projects between $140,000 and $320,000. Annual deep cleaning of the filters starts at $2,500.
What you are actually buying
A pool is something you put in your backyard. A swim pond is your backyard. Every build includes design consultation and site analysis, excavation and grading, liner and underlayment, the biological filtration and regeneration zone, circulation equipment, native aquatic planting, stonework, water-quality commissioning and hands-on owner training, with a 12-month workmanship warranty on plumbing and hardware and a 30-day water-clarity guarantee. A conventional pool quote covers a shell, its equipment and a deck. The landscape around it is quoted separately, later, by someone else.
Who a swim pond suits
Owners who want the whole yard resolved rather than one amenity dropped into it, who care about chemical-free water, who like the idea of a place that improves as planting matures, and who expect a custom price for a custom build. If the goal is the lowest-cost way to get swimmable water, or a heated tiled basin for year-round lap swimming, a conventional pool is the better purchase and we will say so.
What changes the price
Site access for excavation equipment, rock or caliche in the dig, slope and drainage work, liner choice, the amount of stone, heating, lighting and how far the site is from our Allen, Texas shop.
